I have three adorable rescue dogs: Ella, Chubby and Vico. They are part of my family, and I love them dearly.
As the days get longer and warmer, I spend more time outside enjoying the company of my dogs. I’ll bet you do, too! That’s why I thought it would be fun to host a photo and story contest to get to know some of your beloved canine companions. (I’ll tell you more about mine in some upcoming posts…)
Share your dog photos with us by July 21st and you will be automatically entered to win a box of my handmade chocolate-dipped almond biscotti. For every entry, I’ll also donate $1 to my favorite charity, Pet’s Lifeline. One of the main reasons I got back in the biscotti business was to help raise money for these charities that are near and dear to my heart. Five-percent of all Boncora Biscotti sales are donated to Pet’s Lifeline — a shelter in Sonoma that feeds and rehabilitates nearly 1,000 animals every year. Since January, I have donated $1,000 to this fantastic nonprofit, and I hope to donate even more in the coming months.

Feel free to include your dog’s rescue or adoption story in 100 words or less. Photos and stories will be posted on Facebook, and Bonnie will announce the winner at Bark in the Park in Sonoma on July 27.
The fine print:
Photos: Please keep your photo size to less than 1 megabyte in .jpg format. The photo can be of your dog (solo) or you and your dog, in any configuration (vertical or horizontal).
Please include your full name and mailing address in your email; otherwise we cannot consider your entry eligible for a prize. Your information will be kept confidential.
A contest winner will be chosen by Bonnie at her discretion based on photographs submitted to the above email address by midnight July 21. You must include your dog’s name in your email. Telling your dog’s story is suggested but not necessary.
Contestants give Boncora Biscotti the right to use any photo or story on the Boncora Biscotti Facebook page, on boncorabiscotti.com and in the Boncora newsletter.
